The Parish Council allocates money each year in its budget for the Community Grant Scheme. The scheme is designed to encourage and support voluntary organisations with their community activities and viable projects.
So far this year, grants have been awarded to two local applicants.
£3,000 has been awarded to Brixworth Community Larder, who will use the funds to purchase food and supplies. £2,300 has been awarded to Friends of Brampton Valley Way & Brixworth Country Park for the purchase of equipment and training on their use to help maintain these areas.
