Free 24/7 mental health support is now available in Northamptonshire via text messaging service Shout. The service is confidential and aims to help those suffering from anxiety, stress, loneliness, depression or suicidal thoughts to reach a calmer place. Simply text ‘IMATTER’ to 85258 to be connected to a trained volunteer. The service was launched on 2 September thanks to funding from North and West Northamptonshire Public Health services and Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board. It will also signpost users to further support available locally.
