Brixworth PC were delighted to award two community grants last month.
The first was to Friends of Brampton Valley Way & Brixworth Country Park who are using the money to purchase essential equipment to maintain the parks for everyone to enjoy. This equipment will allow them to install posts and keep footpaths clear.
The second grant was awarded to Northampton and Lamport Railway. They are using their money on an Ironstone train Project, which aims to assemble an authentic rake of Iron Ore Tippler wagons, which were once a common site in Northamptonshire.
