In Remembrance of HM The Queen

Our Council Chairman, Sandra Moxon and Vice Chairman, Jackie Bird alongside several of our Councillors and Council Officers will be laying a wreath in memory of The Queen this morning at 10:15, Saturday 10th September.

This will be followed by a period of 2 minutes silence. Residents are warmly welcome to join us at the Community Centre flag for this brief period of reflection and remembrance and will be welcome to lay their own floral tributes if they wish too. We kindly ask that any tributes left are free from any plastic wrappings.

During the coming days, the flag pole will be at half-mast as a mark of respect. From 11am today, Saturday 10th September, in recognition of the Proclamation readings for King Charles lll, the flag will be returned to full mast. The flag will remain at full mast until 1pm, Sunday 11th of September.

Brixworth Parish Council will also be paying our respects to The Queen by laying a further wreath in the grounds of All Saints Church. Further details will follow.
