Brixworth Parish Council would love to thank everyone who braved the grey skies and thunderstorms to join us for our MUGA grand opening event yesterday afternoon.
A special thank you to Martin Spencer, chairman of Basketball Northants – a voluntary organisation promoting sport across the county, and professional basketball player Andre Arissol who joined children from Brixworth Primary School and local residents for the event, putting the new recreational facility to good use.
Thanks to Brixworth Primary School and Brixworth Central Sports for supporting the event and for the Parish Council Working Group who have worked so hard to bring this project together.
The MUGA caters for many other sports including Tennis, Netball and 3×3 basketball and is a public recreational facility. For private bookings, please contact the parish office for further information.
