Services of Remembrance for Queen Elizabeth II

Services in memory of Queen Elizabeth II are set to take place in Northampton and Kettering on Sunday, 18 September.

Those wishing to attend the Service of Remembrance at All Saints Church in Northampton are advised that they can arrive at any time after 10am and must be seated by 10.40am at the latest.

A ceremonial procession will progress from the Judge’s Lodgings in George Row, arriving at the church where dignitaries will be guided to their seating ready for the service to start at 11am.

The service will also be live streamed on social media and sound will be broadcast via a sound system outside the church.

Roads will be closed around the centre of Northampton and those with blue badges are encouraged to park in St Giles Street.

All Saints’ Church

This morning, at 11am, Brixworth Parish Council quietly and respectfully laid a wreath at the Church.

This was in recognition and respect for her role as Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

We pass our thanks to the Church for allowing us to leave our tribute with you.

Our Proclamation – Sunday 11th September

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us this afternoon as our Chairman Sandra Moxon and Vice Chairman Jackie Bird read out the proclamation at Brixworth Community Centre.

They stood proudly under the Union Flag that once again flew at full mast in recognition and celebration of our new King, Charles lll.

God save the King. 👑

A special thank you to the Olive Branch for supplying complimentary tea and coffee afterwards.

Proclamation Reading – Sunday 11th September

Brixworth Parish Council will be reading the proclamation for King Charles lll this afternoon, Sunday 11th September, at 3pm. We once again warmly welcome you to join us outside Brixworth Library & Community Centre.

Our flag is currently standing proudly at full mast in recognition and celebration of the new king. It will remain at full mast until 1pm this afternoon, Sunday 11th September. During the local reading of the proclamation, the flag will rise briefly to full-mast once again.
