Working towards a better Brixworth
Representatives from Daventry District Council will be visiting the Brixworth Library in the Community Centre on Wednesday 29th July between 10.00am and 1.000pm to canvass for public opinion about the Dog Fouling Consultation.

Due to carriageway resurfacing work, Silver Street will be closed between 08.30 and 16.30 from 27th July for up to five days.
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group have published the Draft Plan using the information gained from last year’s questionnaire delivered to all homes and many subsequent meetings.
A 6 week community consultation starts now. Chairman of the Group, David Parnaby, said ”It is vital that members of the community view the proposals and have their say.”
There will be a display in the Library & Community Centre Foyer from the beginning of June until mid July and a public meeting has been arranged for Thursday 11th June at 7.30pm in the Community Centre.

The 2015 edition of the race returns to the county of Northamptonshire, building on the success of the 2014 Grand Depart which took place within the county at the heart of England. On the 19th June the race will be coming through Brixworth between 12.45 and 1.00pm along Spratton Road. The Community Centre will be open and providing refreshment for the spectators.
