Spratton Road Wellbeing Park

In a heart-warming display of community spirit, volunteers gathered at Spratton Road Park to plant 20 fruit trees, marking the first step towards transforming the park into Brixworth’s very first Wellbeing park. The event, brimming with enthusiasm and shared purpose, saw apple, plum, pear, and cherry trees take root, promising a fruitful future for the local community.

The initiative, orchestrated by dedicated volunteers, underscores a collective commitment to enhancing both environmental sustainability and communal wellness. By introducing a variety of fruit trees, the project not only enriches the park’s biodiversity but also offers the prospect of fresh, locally sourced produce for residents to enjoy for years to come.

In the spirit of gratitude and optimism, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who contributed to this remarkable endeavour. Together, we pave the way for a future where nature thrives, and communities flourish.

We hope this is just the beginning for the transformation of the park, which has the potential to become a fully inclusive space for all, building on the Parish Council Green Framework and becoming an incredible asset for the village.
